To add to what Stripes has said on Augusta, he had a strong 1st semester academically that really helped his chances.

Nice that they had to publish that article today. Could that not have waited until after signing day? Way to make people feel good about your state when recruits are still in play, PD.

EZE is doing his signing ceremony at 4 tomorrow. It will be on KSDK. Larry Thornton thinks that he wouldnt do all of that to show up Mizzou.
As far as Travis Johnson, he has made his decision and informed all of the prospective coaches and will announce tomorrow.

Worked at KDSK on their Mizzou stories and Local Highschool stories. Now at 101ESPN doing Mizzou Analysis. He said that if it was a simple ceremony then there is no telling where EE would go, but the fact that KSDK is coming and everything, he doubts that Stacy Elliot would do all of that to have his son pick any school other than Mizzou. Stacy is still in regular contact with alot of Mizzou people in town and sees them daily/weekly. He wouldnt let it be televised if he knew his son was going to OSU, the family is just too classy for that.

Now, anything can happen but this is based off of LT's opinion. When setting it up Cusamano didnt make Stacy give any promises on "If we televise this it has to be Mizzou", but just based on Stacy not wanting to show his friends up Thornton thinks if EE was going to OSU he would have told NBC "No Thanks".

Just to give some optimism, both starting QBs in the super bowl were 3* recruits, Sam Bradford a 3* as well, Spoon was a 2*, Chase Daniel I believe was a 3*. Stars dont mean everything. And its not like Mizzou was blown out of every game this year. Yeah they had a tough run against bama a&m and SC, but we could have easily beaten Vandy, blew a lead against Syracuse, and was one play away from beating Florida. Lets get a healthy QB in there, Josey back healthy and DGB finally figuring out what to do and have a solid season and then see how recruiting goes. Im not worried much.

I hope you're right. My mindset today is more thinking he's doing the whole signing day thing so his son has that wonderful experience, and get his name out there with the media before he heads off to tosu stable. I SO hope you're right.
And UR, if you pull the all-nighter, you're a better fan than me. What time are the Johnson and Outlaw signing ceremonies? And will Singleton just sign, or do the media circus too?

That's what I've been saying. I just don't see all this last minute stir if there wasn't something to it. I don't think the parents would do that to Mizzou.
