Usually when I am disappointed in the class (every year since 2010) I just start focusing early on the next one thinking "There are just too many stars for us to miss on this time. 2010 couldnt have been a fluke right?" Now I just realize it for what it is.

That's not especially helpful.

This is true. For College Schollys if you are under 21 then a parent needs to sign also. His Mom wouldnt do it. So he went to Auburn instead.

Yes. Yes, he has. TBH, I'm not sure anyone else will win a NC as long as Saban is there. Their recruiting is just sick.

I mean all we are asking for are Top 20 classes. With Vanderbilt within the Top 20, I dont see why this should be so difficult for us. Longer history of winning and better facilities. I mean we can talk about how we cant compare ourselves to the LSUs and Bamas all day, but this is Vanderbilt. UK even has more 4-Star recruits than us. Not only do they have a new coach,.....they are also Kentucky! I mean who in the division are we going to beat out? Love the man, but unless we have a miracle next year I think this might be his last class.

I wouldnt dismiss it immediately. We will have to give him like 4.5 a Year. But Alden HAS to make a big hire, for the simple fact he has to sell a 77,000 Stadium. I actually think we have a better chance at Strong than Smart. I wouldnt mind Grantham either though.

Mayes committed to USF a couple weeks ago and canceled his visit.
