I mean I dont see the problem with how he handled his recruitment. He committed nowhere the entire time, took his time and did his research, led no schools on by naming a leader, didnt get arrogant, gave everybody a fair shot. I mean I just dont see how you or anybody could have a problem with it.

Are you mad that he didnt talk to the media more? That he kept the process quiet? You cant knock him for stuff other people said to him on Twitter if thats it.

If you want to bring up the weed situation as immature then sure, but I cant see any knocks on his recruitment. The man said no to an Arkansas Booster willing to compensate him. I think DGB's recruitment is exactly how it should be done.

Wait, his problem with DGB's recruitment was that he was born to an unfit mother? Ok, I am done taking his comment seriously now. I thought he actually was bothered by something DORIAL did.

?

I had no problem at all with DGBs recruitment. None at all. This is rather bizarre.

I think some of you need to pick up a book every now and then, might improve comprehension.

You, like most, spot red flags when the tone of something isn't politically correct, you spotted bad things in my comment and that stuck out to you, you jumped to conclusions without absorbing the full context, as evident by your inaccurate summary of what I wrote.

I didn't summarize what you wrote, I pointed out that some of your statements were critical. And I realize that there was some depth to your statements. But inflammatory comments like those you made tend to catch peoples' eyes, and influence them negatively to anything else you say. Communication is about far more than your message - it's as much or more about your audience. People view things through their own filters, made up of their experiences and opinions. On a Mizzou board, you made controversial comments about DBG. You shouldn't be surprised that people reacted negatively to those comments.

I know that you gave credit to the young man and acknowledged that he had no control over his environment. But you still criticized him - unnecessarily, IMO. And my reading comprehension is quite good.

Now, let's please move on. The issue isn't worth this much discussion.

Did you or did you not say, "I like the way EE handled his recruitment, night and day difference from the way DGB handled his. Well-spoken and mature for one, and quite the opposite for DGB."

Please let me know what I did not comprehend?

Haha, no I did not say that. See.. we have comprehension issues on this board more than anything.

I said their official visits were night and day, and even said media attention aside. (Big difference eh?)

I explained this in various way, which I'm sure were not comprehended.

Yes please.

I'm trying to think of a clever Josey Wales comment, but can't. I feel like there is something there with the J and and Outlaw, but nothing coming.

You said EE went about his visit differently than DGB. You said DGB was dressed like a "baller" and EE was more business like.

Hoodie and jeans. Lookin like a big balla right?

Stripes thinks I said they handled their recruitment differently and somehow thought I had a problem with the way DGB handled his recruitment. I only said that their visits where different... which is quite a bit different than saying I disapprove how they handled their entire recruiting process.

Well if you subbed "visit" for "recruitment" in his post it wouldnt have made a difference.

Everybody knows what was said. It cant be proven now because the mods have pulled his posts off, but you did link DGBs recruitment (or as you are now saying visit) to his maturity. As if he was body surfing in the student section or something during the game.

It looks like Outlaw is going to visit Texas Tech next weekend. That would seem to tell me that he will be in Columbia during the week. I was concerned that we would get a skeet 1 day official visit, but a 4-5 day vist?
