Dimarya Mixon will visit this weekend.

Ramirez says he is down to Missouri and KSU. There is an issue that isn't being made public that may keep Ramirez from coming to Mizzou.

Do you have a hint as to what that might be, in regards to Ramirez?

Sounds like Chase had a good visit. Solid to Mizzou still.

Not necessarily trusted sources, but I keep hearing that it isnt looking good. PM poster that knows Ramirez's mom, saying that she says he wont end up coming here. To his credit he did post that maybe a month or two ago, but hopefully he is wrong or something will change. I dont think this is open and shut coming or not coming yet though. Hopefully guys like Trent and Clay will get in his ear a few times.

Also a poster from MS is saying that Devin Booker is averaging 29 points a game this year. Will be great to lock him up.

Is it illegal to run a Melvin Booker highlight reel during the game on Devin's OV?

Lets be honest, the crowd would love it and then after the clip they can put him up on the Jumbo-tron so he can be acknowledged. Throw that on during halftime.

He really wants to play with Boyd, that won't happen at Mizzou.

Whats the scoop with Boyd?

Is it me or do we seem to be getting the guys with nerd tendencies..

Elliot is cooler than Abbington.

Boyd looks like a cool guy, no interest.
Ramirez same thing.

Rafe Peavey looks cool. Mauk, Hosick, and Printz all have tool tendencies.

The three types of talented players we are getting are Jesus lovers, nerds-tools (often times this goes hand in hand with being a Jesus lover), or bad eggs that are passed over by elite programs.

I lurk in the recruiting thread, but I gotta say...

Nerds and tools

JF is the clic leader.

Only in your reality man, but whatever. The post has merit based on the comedic value alone.

I wouldn't expect you to see it Kilo..

There is a reason guys like JFF do what they do, the combination of cool and talent do something for an athlete. We seem to be missing out on those kind of guys.

Take a look and listen to interviews from Mauk, Hosick, and Printz.. all three are uncool. The real stud is Rafe Peavey.

Listen to Ezekiel Elliot, he is a legit cool dude. Abbington is kind of a tool.

I could go on and on with examples but this is a dumb thing to talk about, and I have a feeling you don't get it anyway.

Do you really want me to list the choir boys we have had to kick out of the program over the last 7 years due to misconduct or legal problems?

I mean, Jesus freaks and nerd tools don't get caught smoking a blunt out behind the stadium.

I mean Mo, you're trying to quantify "cool" as measurement to judge a player. Come on man.

Tim Tebow is the biggest nerd tool jesus freak around.

I've heard rumors about this before, but no info about this "mysterious issue" that might keep him from coming here. I can't imagine he'd rather go to ksu, it's highly unlikely that Bill Snyder will still be the coach when he's a junior or senior. Yeah, they're having a great year - but when Snyder is gone, we've seen what happens there. And Snyder is 73.

Wasnt there an issue where he hasn't taken the ACT yet? I thought I remember hearing that. Is he a risk not to academically qualify? Not trying to speculate just throwing out there in case someone knows.

Kilo, I guess you missed the 3rd type of talented player we take.. bad eggs.

Tim Tebow benefited from playing on a great team with a great system, plus he was a total beast. There were very few people that could match his strength.

Kilo, like I said talking to you about this is pointless. You're a sterile person, I'd bet you're a sabermetrics guy. Remember those arguments at the beginning of the year about Franklins lack of intuition and charisma, and now everyone see's it. You don't see emotional things like this, you are a cold hard facts type of person.
