They have thrown 4 guys tons of innings that shows no faith in their pen.

That is definitely not what it means.

I beg to differ. I came in the stadium to watch the end of the UCA/Mercer game. I was standing on the first base side next to a UCA fan. We got to talking and he told me his brother was the guy pitching. He said he was worried about their pitching because their coach had been throwing all of their starters because he did not have faith in their bullpen. He said if their starters don't get the job done they will be in trouble.

They may have a weak pen, but it wasn't because their 2 pitchers threw CGs yesterday. One guy threw a 4 hit shutout and the other allowed 4 hits against us as well.

The same argument can be made for us when we threw Graveman complete games 2 weeks in a row. Does that mean we have a weak bullpen?

Exactly. When a pitcher is throwing a 4 hit shutout, you almost never pull him, and when he's throwing a 4 hit shutout in a regional or tournament, you sure as hell don't pull him.

They pretty much can throw everyone except Gilmore and McKenzie today.

My guess is we will go with Lindgren and follow him up with Bracewell, Ross Mitchell, Girado and Holder.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Holder around the 5th or 6th inning.

I 100% agree with this.

That just shows how much Cohen is obsessed with match-ups, as if there was already any doubt.

If he thinks he gives us the best chance to win, I'm good with it, but I would have felt more comfortable with a starter starting it.

I'm actually more comfortable with Bracewell on the hill than Lindgren. Lindgren just hasn't had it since his injury. I think starting Bracewell gives us our best chance to win.

I hope bracewell challenges their hitters.
