We do the same. I never understood the rush to the car so I can wait in line crowd.

You sound very butthurt for no reason.
Congratulations for you. You and maybe 5% of the 62,000 fans go back to their tailgate rather than trying to get off campus as quickly as possible. I can deal with most everything but give me a head's up. Did you know they were changing the traffic flow post game out in town? It was a total cluster and from what I can find out, it was very poorly communicated. My tailgate is back at my RV and it's less than 5 minutes once I get in my car - before the cluster they created.

It really is a mad rush outta town. That sucks, sorry y'all had to go through that. I never realized that so many drive up and go back the same day. I live just a little too far away to do that, but paying out the arse for hotels sucks too.

But just for reference. I went to an OM game last year vs. TAMU and it took us no less than 3 hours to get out of town, beyond ridiculous.

I guess you didn't read anything I wrote. I have a place that I can hit campus with a rock (right behind Corky's). It used to take me 5 minutes to get home. It took me an hour Saturday night.

FWIW I tailgated for an hour or two after the Auburn game and it took me over an hour to get to my hotel on 12
