This is a team board. It tends to be more civil than the rant. Even the ole miss fans are pretty even keel on here.

But I am sure you will find people to argue with here too. Still haven't answered my question on bowl attendance.

It's just my opinion....I don't speak for the board little fella

We sent 30K to the ACCCG. Just talking to other fans, we'll probably have close to that in Miami. No idea what to guess for MSU.

And nothing little about me.

I will be shocked if you have 30K in Miami. Half of that maybe...

The two sides will, at the least, be about even then.

Don't let his conservative estimate fool you. I'd be shocked if Miami wasn't 2-1 or 3-1 MSU fans. We've sold 13k tickets through our ticket office at $100 per when the same seats can be picked up for $4 on Stubhub right now. State will bring 30k to this game.

Would you argue that you "were about even" when you played OM last year in Nashville? Here's what it looked like when we played Wake 2 years prior -- a game that had 5k more fans present than yours last year.

Don't take normal bowl years as a barometer for this. And, Wake? It's not even a comparison. Our fanbase gets up for big bowls and has the salaries to make it to Miami in decent numbers. This is the dumbest pissing contest in college sports.

Yeah, I'm kind of ashamed of myself

I watched Wolf of WS finally last night - some of the douchiness rubbed off on me.

You assume this isn't also true for us?

You had the 2nd least attended Orange Bowl in 15 years when you were there 5 short years ago. And you were playing a B1G team with a generally better travelling fanbase than your own. The only game that was less-attended was Virginia Tech's 3rd game down there in 4 years against a California team.

We'll see.

Pretty sure GT has won an SEC championship since the last time MSU did.

Beat MSU a few times lately as well.

If you call 2 times a few & a few years back, 1 under Croom, lately.

Since you beat us & you beat UGA, we beat UGA. We rarely play UGA.

GT & State never played in the 30 years both were in the SEC.

Should be a good game.

Hope they do; but, Charlotte is a much easier drive from Atlanta than Miami.

Their Stadium holds 55,000.

Georgia tech had pretty pathetic attendance in Nashville last year, which is fairly close to ATL. Also, they know that state will smash them this year in Miami so I would expect approximately 5 GT fans at the game...
