Shump had one play that was set up perfectly. All he needed to do was turn it upfield, and it would have gained at least 10 yards. For some reason, he bumps it outside for his usual 3 yard gain. That play was super disappointing to me. I really want Shump to do well.

think they called Gray's name on a pass that went to Fred Brown.

I think this game will tell us a lot about both teams.

ASU has a legit D so what we saw from our O vs ASU & Arky holds water.

But ASUs O is suspect so we can't trust the Ds performance against them. Arky on the other hand has a good O line and B Allen is good. Although we only gave up 21 to them they moved the ball well and we had issues with Collins and the run.

We should be able to score points Saturday, but Daks mobility and accuracy could be more than we can handle.

This will also be the first chance in the new stadium to see how loud it is with the new west side and canopy.

Here's to a good game my Maroon brothers

Texas A&M's true freshman receiver Christian Kirk is their weapon. He has to be slowed down/stopped. This should be Diaz's main focus in practice this week which he knows.

Don't overlook Josh Reynolds

I meant Nevada...but didn't make an effort to change it.

If we win this game, I will be a lot more confident in our season going forward.

I hope Dan has been holding the offense back for this game. What we're currently doing is hard to explain.

Just don't think Dak is going to be running more than 5-6 times. Hope I am wrong.

Hopefully Holloway is able to move the chains on the ground. Have to keep their offense off the field.

If you go back and watch Nevada, they really only did well after we were well ahead and substituting, although we would like our 2's and 3's to shut down a team like that, it didn't happen.

Nevada 7 3 10 7 - 27

IDK. Looks like the scrubs did OK.

Our scrubs giving up 17 is not ok in my opinion. Maybe a couple of field goals are acceptable. But our 2's and 3's shouldn't give up 17.

So it's a potential weakness

If your starters had given up 17 in a half last year, it would have been a moral victory, so it is all relative, I guess.

Oh heck yeah. You're 100% right but we are very hopeful that our D this year is much improved. We did well against Arky but y'all will be the first real test.

Sarge, you are my favorite non grinder. Your tears will be the worst part of Saturday.

I promise to give them the respect they deserve and savor them.

I had a fit when this happened, too. He could literally lower his head, close his eyes and run like his life depended on it and have at least 2 more YPC average..

It will pain me to move to 5-0 on Saturday night at the expense of my maroon brothers as well.

No way he has held the offense back at this point.
