Scott Stricklin on Mullen winning Championships at Florida as opposed to Mississippi State

To the Orlando Sentinel on Mullen saying his goal is to win a national championship at Florida:

“He did the same thing at Mississippi State,” Stricklin said. “I told him this week, the difference at Mississippi State it hadn’t been done. When people hear it there it was just a coach trying to get people fired up.”

This is worse than hiring Mullen in my mind. He is legitimatly stating that as athletic director, he could not see State winning Championships. I'm super glad we have a coach and an athletic director who's ready to win, not compete.
