78 teams make bowl games this season. Thats 60% of college football. It's not special to go 6-6, it's not a great season when we do.

In 1997 we went 7-4 and didn't make a bowl game.

All I'm saying is makes no sense for us to base any decision off of 1 game. We have to look at the full picture.

But NOOOOOO all of y'all were sticking up for this loser because he defeated a 4 win Ole Miss team and a 2 win Arkansas team that lost to Western Kentucky even worse than us to even get bowl eligible.

I'm serious. What is the point of keeping him for year 3?

If we're in for a long rebuild no matter what, which we are, might as well start now.

If not we should immediately cut our football program. There's no point in spending all this money in a sport that we obviously have no intention of competing in. Just absolutely incompetent leadership we have rn just wanting a paycheck and not doing their job effectively.

The apologists that comprise over half of our fan base just got their panties in a wad over this post. Unfortunately John Cohen resides in that camp as well. Should have fired him after last year. We gave up 12, I’ll say it again 12 TOUCHDOWNS THE ENTIRE 2018 SEASON and lost 5 games. The people who are saying “oh but he doesn’t have his players” or “ there will be improvement in year 3!” Or “we had suspended players this year”, etc. can all shut the frick up now. Until this fan base expects better this is what we get. We need to stop determining the outcome of a season based on Egg Bowl wins or losses.
