Men's Basketball Update

Reggie Perry named 1st team all SEC. Honestly he has an incredible chance to be SECPOTY
Preseason picked 7th in the conference. I think this team can be a top 5 SEC team and is a NCAA tournament team again and can be better if we have a little clearer of an identity.
We should see some good crowds for the spring and they have the possibility to beat solid teams like Villanova or Kansas State in November
Under Howland, our Ken Pom Ranking has improved from borderline 200 to top 25. I expect to be in that range again this season.
No reason not to be excited. We're out of the hole, and on November 5th, we'll finally have another sport to get our mind off of this Trainwreck that is the football program.

I think we can have a very nice season. I just hope our game to game team chemistry is improved from last season.

If only he would quit that stupid "weave" that the team did last year....only took time off the clock...

It's easy to nitpick any team. But the fact of the matter is in 2013 we weren't even a top 300 basketball program. And last year in 2019 we got back to the top 25.
And I'll say this. I think this team top to bottom is much better than last year's team. Yes Q is a big loss. But it really feels like losing Holman and Peters are huge gains.
