He hasn't hit the ball on the ground in five weeks, he's not going to get benched for doing so in a blowout win over a SWAC school. If anything, he should have been benched for popping up with the bases loaded like he's done 100 times over past 6 games.
He was probably pulled because he got a few hits and we wanted to get Humpreys and Garner an AB during a 16-2 win because it's obvious they are going to have to contribute during the second half of the season.

I would have benched him for it, and I haven't been nearly as pissed as Cohen. Bases loaded with one out, you don't put it on the ground. Especially not when you're already on a short leash. It's basic shite like that that's put them where they are.
