The attendance record for the Liberty Bowl belongs to....wait for it.....drumroll please....

that was for a bowl game- and it was our first in 7 years...plus, there is no way South Alabama or La Tech would go to Memphis

We have schedules set for the most part already for the next 6-7 years. And Tulane aint on it

It's also within walking distance of the Hood if you walk in another direction. Memorial Stadium is within walking distance from one of Jackson's nice areas as well.

When is the last time you've been to the Liberty Bowl? You know they still play a bowl game here every year.

The Belhaven area is a not nice area. It's crime ridden and sketchy as fugg.

Basically the only nice places left in the city limits are around Meadowbrook and near JA.

There is a reason Jackson was top 5 in population loss per capita in MS cities according to the last census. It is a shite hole.

Yeah, if you walk long enough, you'll find a hood.

As far as location the MSU fan base, Jackson is better. Memphis, however, is a better venue all the way around, and it's not even close.

Are there other examples of other schools doing this? Does Arkansas business men buy some of those games they play in Little Rock?

no that is actually a home game. One conference game and one non conference a year I think. It might just be one conference game. Can't remember but I think there are two.

It seems like they always pick us for one, and I have been wanting to go to a game in Fayetteville.

Yes. State has sold homes before- LT sold one to Fla businessmen in Orlando back in the 1990's.

The ULM- UPig game in LR was a home game for ULM. Wyoming had a home game in Nashville vs Tennessee. It happens alot with smaller schools.

I like the idea, but the city of Jackson and the JPD better be sure as hell willing to work with your group.

I'm just very Leary of the city of Jackson and their elected officials.

Councilman Kenneth Stokes may be the biggest crook in Mississippi politics
