This has nothing to do with Ray being inept. Let's all be honest. When we heard the hire, we were all left scratching our head. He was an underwhelming hire from the get go.
I know it's good to back the coach we've got, but I haven't seen anything from Ray that has me excited about MSU basketball.
It'll be a miracle if we can get Malik.

This is true. But for Me, anything was better than Stans.

I don't legitimately want Stans back; however, we would be hands down the top team in the West right now if he were still here. And getting Malik wouldn't even be up for debate. You forget that part of the shite show didn't go down until he left, its a lot easier to rebuild with Rodney Hood on the floor.

Because he 100% wouldn't be coming here. Big Train's relationship with Stans was not a good one. He would and did tell that to anyone that would listen when Malik was one of the top freshmen in the country.

I am not angry about ray getting hired. I just hope stricklin will admit the mistake if he does not do well next year. Ray is not getting the talent in.
Strick's only mistake was not doing it a year earlier. Thats where he messed up. I told him this is exactly what was going to happen. And here we are

Your picture just backs his statement. Thank you for posting it, I had forgotten what 20 wins looked like.

Your twitter picture has to be a joke. You stole that from a younger Bulldog. If not then

Backs his statement? With the talent that he had that season we should have been in the hunt for the fricking Elite 8 if not Final Four.

WTF. There is not an old fricker alive that can give me a legitimate answer for keeping Stansbury. Sure we're awful this year, but what are your fricking goals? To make it to the NCAA every 5 years and get beat in the first round of the NIT others?

I'm a little disappointed in your use of the Risky Business Meme.

Engie I like your Fightin' Spirit but neither of those losses were by 20 and those Georgia teams wern't bad.

There is a good chance we could have a 12 game losing streak going into the South Carolina game the last regular season game of the year.

They finished with a 104 RPI.
The current Georgia team has a 101 RPI.
So, this one sucks, but the one Stans played "wasn't bad"?

That UGA: 11th of 12 in the SEC with a 5-11 record.
This UGA: T3rd of 14 in the SEC with a 7-4 record so far.

I love Mississippi State as much as anybody and have always loved watching Mississippi State basketball ever since my earliest memories of Greg Carter, Tony Watts, Cameron Burns, David Domagune (sp) throughout the years.
This season however has been harder to watch than last year because I have been wanting to see improvement and its just not there as a team.

And we went 3-16 to close out Cohen's second year and went 6-24 in the SEC. Is there a point you are making?
The fact is, you can't judge shite from year 2 in a rebuild.
Next year will tell the story with Ray one way or the other -- and prognosticating right now is ridiculous even if it ends up being correct. Simply no way of knowing until he's at a point in the rebuild he can be held accountable(next year).

Will you agree with me on this Engie, if we have a 15-15 season next year with a 6-12 SEC record will you begin to think Ray is still the guy?
Also the difference between him and Cohen is Cohen's guys bought in, after watching our guys last night they seemed to have mailed it in the last 5 minutes and this is the first time I have seen our guys quit like that and not keep on competing. If this becomes a trend its not going to be good.
I hope Ray gets things turned around, but I have nothing that I have seen on the court this season to get me to believe that things are getting better. I actually believe that we aren't much better than we were last year.

He does this and he's fired. 100%. He's got to get into the NIT next year -- and to do that, he needs to win 20+. Stansbury expectations next year -- and 15-15 will not cut it.

Not in year 2 they didn't. That Cohen team QUIT down the stretch.

You are watching an entirely different team than I am. Do I need to post the stat comparison again?
We're still a ways from being good -- but we're getting closer.
