Vic scheduled the Division 2 National Champions as the Exhibition. Nonconference features good road games but not many good home games. This will help our RPI more so I am glad we are getting tested early, but to the season ticket holders I know you are disapointed. Not much to say about the conference schedule. You get South Carolina twice and have to travel to Columbia for the final conference game of the season. Brutal... You get Tennessee at home. This will probably be a State and SC fight to first place.

For Menn's basketball this is an excellent NC schedule compared to the abysmal one a year ago. Arizona State, Saint Mary's, Clemson, Cincinnati, Dayton and BYU are all competitive games that will ensure our nc schedule does not keep us out. Drawing in Kentucky and Auburn twice is brutal. But getting to play them both at home on a Saturday is awesome. Back to Back Road games vs SEC Champions Tennessee and Auburn to close out the reg season? That 3 game home stretch of LSU Kentucky and Alabama looks huge. This seems like the year State has built up to. Lets see what happens… Otherwise, I do think we will have to wait another decade.

That two game swing in the NW is pretty wicked for the ladies. At Oregon and At Wazzou in a span of 3 days should be fun to watch and an excellent test.

Gets some more bang for their buck by playing two games over there instead of 1 with the amount of money it costs to travel from Mississippi to the West Coast. I like it. I was just in Seattle a few months ago and went by Washington. It is certainly a neat place to visit. They will enjoy it. Alaska Airlines Arena over there has a reputation of being unusal. But I am not sure how many fans they have for Women's Basketball nor do I know realistically how many students will be there.
