No. Stans dug his own grave. He was a solid under-performer that ran a train wreck of a program. The shite that went on inside of that program is mind-boggling. The reason that he lasted as long as he did was because he was somewhat successful. If we had not had divisions during his tenure, he wouldn't have lasted as long as he did.
I had high hopes for Ray turning things around, but even Stevie Wonder can see that we aren't getting it done. The players seem to be just going through the motions. That is unacceptable.

Just the talent Stans would have had the past 2 years would have put us top 4 in the SEC and possibly I'm the tourney with how weak the conference has been

The worst part of this crash and burn is that there's alot of promise in the next 2 classes. Right when he seemed to turn the corner in recruiting, his team has seemingly quit on the court...

You made a mistake in firing him.
The next 2 classes are being counted on. Why? You don't have Newman and if you did, he would be one and done. He won't be able to turn this team around by himself.
