Do y'all think CT will have his shite together and be our lead off next year?
We need him to badly. There is no question that he can because he was legit his before his injury, but he just hasn't been the same since then IMO.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say he's gonna be a stud next year.

Will Dupont hit .214 in rookie ball last season, and this season, while still in rookie ball, he's hitting .235. He should've come to school, obviously.

We need CT or Robson to step up and take that lead off spot.

@SLO_Blues: A home run by Nick Flair gives the Blues their first run of the game, tied at 1-1 with the Conejo Oaks in the third inning.

Need Flair to come back...
Think he could be an excellent hitter for us...

Jacob Robson was named to the All-Star team and continues to put up good numbers. He's hitting leadoff too, so maybe he's getting accustomed to that role and approach.
Preston Brown is putting up solid numbers on the mound.
Tyler Fullerton is inactive. I don't know if he's hurt, sent home or what.
Kyle Haan is playing some SS, so that may mean something.
Brett Pirtle is Brett Pirtle. Solid.

Thanks for posting this... Is he catching? Just tuned in...

He was catching earlier. I flipped over earlier just in time to see him groundout to the shortstop.

Damn, guess I missed him...
Just showed a replay of him hosing a dude at second.
I think we're going to get better at the catcher position next year -- just concerned about receiving and experience. Ammo's receiving drove me f'n crazy at times last year. Was terrible about "pushing" borderline strikes out of the zone on even slightly mislocated pitches.
Great article the importance of framing for anyone interested in sabermetrics in baseball. Just don't try to read it all at once. LINK The actual numbers here are fascinating to me...

I always got some mad at the way he received a lot of pitches. I felt like it was just laziness.
Experience will hurt. I think we will see most, if not all, pitches being called from the dugout this year.
