Truly our MVP.

Mississippi State basketball looking great next year:

Tyson Carter, Nick Weatherspoon, Robert Woodard, Reggie Perry, and I look forward to seeing what Prince and Quinten bring this year. Not sure I trust Ado to keep his starting position

If Ado does not start, he certainly gives some depth off the bench. While he will never be an offensive threat, his defense and rebounding can be helpful in games.

It was a shame that Lamar Peters never matured. He was a great talent but was just wildly inconsistent. His ill advised foul on the desperation three pointer in the Liberty game completely turned around that game. It was unnecessary but that was his weakness. We had a ten point lead when that prayer was thrown up, we had the rebound and would have had a chance to go up by 12-13 points and possibly break the game open. Instead, they get three FT’s and it is a 7 point game and the momentum was on Liberty’s side. I knew then we were going to lose the game.

Hopefully, our team will play smarter this year. We have the talent but we have channel that talent correctly to be successful.
