As an outside observer
Y'all were nice enough to let me aboard. I appreciate that.

I pull for State in the Egg bowl. I identify more with the redneck tough mentality I envision with State then I do for the khaki wearing figs from Ole Miss.

It sucks as a bottom to middle tier program. I know where us hogs and the Mississippi schools stand in the SEC. We all (Bottom to Middle feeders) have to count on beating each other to even have a hope of a good year. One Mississippi school likes to try cheating to get ahead.

I hope you guys can pull something decent out of the hat. With the strength of the conference teams and coaches it's gonna be a blood bath.
Alabama, LSU and likely Auburn will continue to be tough top 15 teams. A&M will be a top 25 team to at worst top 50 nationally if Jimbo fails drastically. Recruiting is taking them up. That leaves my humble hogs and the two Mississippi schools.

All 3 of us now have fired our coaches from last season. All 3 of us generally fight for the top of the bottom. Sometimes we get lucky and do better with a top tier win or 2.

Us and Ole Piss have already taken coaches.

Ole Piss won the Media pissing match hire. Kiffin should bring a good offense and recruiting along with NCAA attention. Freeze aint that far off and Kiffin is prone to do shady shite. They will still likely be a tough team the next few years.

We wound up with our #?? choice. He is luckily a guy that wants the job, has the connections for a good staff, is known for recruiting. Everyone he has brought on is top 25 or 30 for their positions groups. Our Linebacker coach wasn't but he was 99-50 at Hutchinson JuCo as head coach. Dude is killing it staff wise.

This was a bad year to do a coaching change. All 3 bottom SEC west jobs plus Mizzou were open. You guys let everyone else go before even starting. You cost yourselves with coaches already signing extensions. I really think it would have been better to wait until next year.

Ole Miss hired Kiffin's recruiting with their history of cheating.

We made a stabilizing hire.

As much as moorhead sucked you are locking yourselves in late for at minimum 2 years. If you get a shite hire like we did with chad that shite can set you back. You have to get a good hire to even compete in this league.

I don't mean to hate and I know what it's like to have a coach that don't fit. We are 4-20 and ranked 110+ in Division 1. Talk about burn the program down!
Have you ever been worse than Vandy? Like Vandy would beat your arse but you were lucky enough to not have them on the schedule? shite sucks ass!

Anyways...I am worried about yall's hire. While I would love to swap yall recent places, I would rather us both tear hell in the SEC and rip the blue bloods new a-holes.

re: As an outside observer
I'm just drunk. Been drinking whisky with beer again tonight. I am finishing off the fifth of Jim Beam Fire I got as a gift yesterday.

I am just sick of the hate against us schools fighting for air from the frickers from the upper tier schools. I could support Ole Miss if they were not so inclined to cheat, arrogant, and would not wear khakis and a tie to a fricking bonfire.

We have good programs and we all can compete. We have a disadvantage recruiting wise, but with tough blue collar work ethic we can win.

We play in the toughest division in the toughest conference in the land. We play "The Man" about 6 times every year. Some of these fairy conference top teams get challenged twice a year.

The kind that doesn't cost more than $15 for a 24-pack.

I mix it up. I like the budweiser clamato picante but its $3 a can and only available in tall boys.

I drink a few of those and get a few Frio 6.0 tall boys.

re: As an outside observer
Well you guys hammered it home.

I, Like many thought yall had waited to late. I wanted leach for a while.

It's ironic that Ole Piss got Kiffin and you guys got Leach. Both who interviewed with Arkansas.

With all the $ we are supposed to have that is what held us up. With Bert and Chaggies buyouts the donors were getting restless. I told one mega donor I know I was glad they had the cash to get out of this mess. He said they had the $ but it was about to dry up if the school didn't stop cycling coaches and do something about the ridiculous buyouts.

I figure our lower salary offer with win based incentives and a win based reduced buyout turned most coaches off. It sucks, but in the long run schools are going to have to stop guaranteeing these coaches retirement $ even if they produce shite. It is not a sustainable model.

At any rate. Congratulations guys. Leach should keep yall at a competitive level. If Pittman had not hired the knock out staff he has I would be butthurt as hell over you guys and Ole Piss.
