Not yet. Perkins just has so much more experience and instinct right now. I have a man crush on J Rob but I'm not convinced yet that he's better than Adrian jr.

I think he's more explosive right now at the very least. He needs more touches.

I like JRob as well but it's hard to go against Perkins and the numbers he's putting up this year. After watching him the last couple years I never thought he was going to be an every down back for us. He's proved me wrong.

Perkins has the experience and a knack for the hole. He's running really well right now. I'd put Milton behind him right now. He's a solid runner. The biggest fault with josh is him not hitting the hole fast enough. He's going side to side too much. I like him when he gets to the 2nd level but he's struggling to get there.

Cdawg pretty much hit the nail on the head. Perk and Milton both have a knack for finding the hole and hitting it, but Josh just seems to run. If he gets to the second level he can take a hit and keep going better than anybody else, but for everytime he gets there Perk and Milt will have already been there 3 times. If Josh had Milt's vision he'd probably be starting.

Go back and watch Josh's TD run against Tennessee. That TD was 100% vision. I think he gets in trouble for a lot of missed assignments, against MTSU last week he went the wrong way on a counter and Mullen reemed his arse. I think his running style is fine. He will only get better with time, and will be our #1 after Perk leaves.

Also, Perk has made me eat my words. I never believed that he could be an every down back. Especially not one that could get tough yards inside. to Perk. His dedication during the off season is something that should be admired.

I think he may see a lot off Griffin and Perkins, at least in pass situations. Perk has been Ray Rice-esque with what he is doing running the ball and catching it out of the backfield. The overlooked aspect, and why I think we may see Griffin and his big arse arms in there a little more, is pass protection. Alabama is going to get pressure on Russell and the backs are going to have to pick up linebackers and chip on DE's... Especially if Tobias doesn't play the whole game.

That said, i think the best strategy would be for someone to pregnate McCarron's girlfriend.
