Mississippi State senior C Nick Ammirati was named SEC player of the week. Hit .545 w/ 3 RBI in series win vs. Auburn.

He's making the most of his opportunity with Slaughter out for 3-4 weeks. I really belive hitting that Grand Slam vs A&M really got him going.
