Correct...

Could still easily win or lose for sure. But it was hilarious how they all thought it was a slam dunk the whole time and talked obsessive shite about it ever since. There's 10+ references that I've seen, and I very rarely even read their board. They bought in to 2013 being their national reality(on paper the best non-traditional power recruiting class in the history of rankings). When I was banking on 2014 being their reality. We'll see tomorrow which is which.

I was also pretty confident in guys like Mixon and Champion really helping me out too instead of them giving Linton all of McLaurin's points(I think those two are basically equal to each other). Those small things add up...

I really hope he's legit on day 1 -- because I'm a little concerned about that WLB spot...

Looking back though, it seems Diaz played alot of nickel. He wasn't putting Emmanuel Gatling on slot receivers, that's for damn sure...

Yeah, I am too. I think Zach Jackson will take a step forward though.

Yeah I keep forgetting about that. We are more than likely going to see 3 true LB's on the field next year. Not sure if they will pack weight on Gray or move him to SS. If you could get Green, Brown, and Brown as a starting rotation it would be so sweet.

Regardless though we have Brown and Brown for sure starting. Then Gray, Jung, Harris, Jackson, Washington, and maybe Leo fighting for that 3rd spot and 2 deep... that has the potential to be a nasty LB corp.

Gray is back in that spot "permanently" too. He seems to have really tremendous instincts and motor, though he's a bit undersized. I haven't exactly seen confirmation either way, but Gray seems like he may have the potential to cover a little bit too...

To be honest Safety is the only position I am really worried about next year.

I want to see the most talent on the field. Not the most experienced 2*.

We lost Drew, we will sign Van, Lodge, and allegedly CeCe though I won't believe that one until it's in. Leo is still talking, we'll find out for sure in the morning. My gut says MSU.

Same. Baptize Peters and Bryant by fire. Some of these other guys can develop into good players for us probably, but I think I'd rather have a great player making mistakes than a "mature" player just getting beat.

He's talking to Ole Miss too. I wish the Rant had PM so croomdawggie and I could chat it up.

My genuine hope is that Leo goes JUCO so we can do this all again in 2 years. He is my favorite recruit ever.

There is no way you can objectively be confident that Van is signing with you as of this minute. Lot of circumstantial stuff starting to point the other way.

I think you do get Lodge. Although it still makes sense to me that he'd want to play with Kyler.

I know 4 fanbases all think they are getting CeCe, so that one will be interesting to see.

At some point, you've got to come to terms that you can't trust any of your site guys during this cycle and just look objectively. They were confident Richmond was sticking all the way up until his decommitment. Were 100% sure Leo was a lock, etc.

I don't use site guys. I know people on Van's HS coaching staff. He's signing with Ole Miss.

ETA: Nobody should trust any site guys 100%. Their job is to sell subscriptions.

We'll see. Sounds an awful like "CJ will be a Dawg!".

What did he gain by removing OM from his twitter profile, etc?

Per ifyouonlyknew on TD Moton's "poor senior stats".

quote:

54 tackles (40 solos), eight tackles for loss, five sacks, three fumbles forced and one fumble recovery that was returned for a touchdown.
And keep this in mind. Those are numbers in the five games Moton played in. He missed three games early in the season with injury and also had to sit out two games due to his transfer from Calvary to Woodlawn High School.

Another BS ranking IMO...
