I like the move or non move rather.

If we win the first game, obviously Ross would pitch against ULL. If we lose, who would pitch against JSU? Laster? Brown?

I like it too. Only downside is that it diminishes the chances we could see Ross Monday in an extended series...

I wouldn't think we would burn Laster against JSU in that situation.

Personally, I hope we get alot more mileage out of Fitts in game 1, get up big, and can basically save Lindgren for later in the tournament...

Yeah we really need to be able to cruise in the first game to have all of our resources at our disposal in game 2.

Sexton or someone we would only use in a blowout.
This regional doesn't hurt as bad if we lose game 1 as most would. Obviously, that's not what you want though.

Yeah we have to save Lindgren for an offense as good as ULL. Lindgren is basically MLB reliever quality right now...can't waste that against anyone else.

IMO best case scenario is Fitts goes 5-6 and we're up enough to bring in tatum, gentry, etc and save ross, lindgren, and holder for ULL

It would be clutch if we could do something like Fitts - Bracewell, Ross - Holder, then Laster - Lindgren - Holder for the title.

Let's fire this puppy up!

I like Tony Gwynn. I am sorry he has cancer. I hope he has a full recovery. [/sympathy]

BTW. Hunter Renfroe must be on a tear. He is up to .286 with 13 HR, 41 RBI, and a .559 SLG.

Hm...I think you must be looking at someone else's stats. Coonass told me he would never hit.

If we could 5 out of Fitts and have Gentry pitch to his potential we would set up well for tomorrow. Gentry makes me nervous though.

Cody Brown is seeing the ball really well today, squaring a lot of balls up. Collins looked terrible against anything off speed.

Yeah...maybe it's nerves with Collins. He looks bad up there.
