i freakin love Britton on third. Did y'all see how fast he got that ball out and across the diamond? It was a foul ball but it was impressive.

He draws walks at a pretty decent rate...but yeah, he looks awful whenever he swings the bat.

I think his batting average on the board Sunday showed .132.
I mean I don't necessarily have anything against Britton, he hit the game winner his freshman year in the SEC tournament title game, but his bat was the reason he lost the starting job to Pirtle last year.
If he can't get it together and at least be serviceable at the plate, I would almost rather put Detz back out there at third and try to find another bat to put in the lineup. Preferably someone with some power.

I think Cohen is just going for the defense right now. Britton at least needs to work the count a bit...yesterday it seemed like he was swinging at everything.

Yeah, you are probably right. Cohen loves the defense, which is a formula we really can't complain about right now.
