So you are complaining about something that worked?

Great -- there's another bunt attempt after a lead off single with no outs. Only to get the lead runner hosed -- who was subsequently probably our best base runner. On a 2-0 count no less.

ETA: I can much better deal with a 7th inning bunt attempt down 1 and playing for one run than I can a 2nd inning bunt attempt. Just not after the 2-0 count. Take a strike there, at least, before actually laying it down. Especially when the guy was visibly laboring and then started Henderson off 2-0 as well...

Cohen overmanages sometimes. I love him as a coach -- and wouldn't take anyone else over him -- but this stuff is ridiculous at times.

Hit and run getting hosed at 3rd with 2 down and one of your best/most clutch hitters at the plate and a questionable runner at best trying to take 3rd? It just doesn't make sense. Just let Detz hit there. A single scores Collins and we've got the lead. It was still likely to take a single to score him from third as well.

Instead, cute bunting and base running just potentially ran ourselves out of another big inning. We handed them 2 of the 3 outs on a silver platter -- and still stranded 2.

Great game. 2 SAC bunts got us the win. Without them we would've lost.
