Maybe this will be the start of several big commitments

Alot of chips are going to fall in the month of August IMO. I think we will end up with 4 or 5 more commits this month. I know Za'Darius Smith, Andrew Billings, Jake Thomas, Austin Droogsma, Ulric Jones, Nate Crawford are all expected to decide soon...
We'll prettymuch have our class filled outside the blue chips that we're going to wait on, meaning Cox, Conner, Shumpert, etc...

Is Mullen considering this guy committed?
Posted on 8/1/12 at 9:44 pm to Whereisomaha
yes
Which IMO probably means we're out of the running for Rumph. Hope I'm wrong on that...
Wasn't likely going to take another HS receiver until Fosselman went on medical scholarship with back issues. Doesn't seem our staff thinks he'll ever make it back...

Based on his quotes, YES
"I am 100 percent committed and comfortable with my decision," said Christy. "It's also good to know I will be playing with guys like B.J. and DeAndre and I already know those guys. And man, it's 6-3 across the board with all of us and to me, we have the best receiver class in the country. You don't see guys our size that much in the same recruiting class."
Christy highlights

I didn't say if you thought he's committed Bundy... I asked if Mullen considers him committed.
Isnt that uncommitted in Mullen's book?

Just like Kailo, Christy won't take an official to Ole Miss.
Good lord y'all live for trying to Flip players. Seems like y'all should worry about your own recruits not decommitting.

I didn't say a thing about flipping anyone. Your coach tried to hide losing players like whitehead, snoop, and CJ with "well they werent really committed because they took OVs". Just wondered if this guy applied because he stated after he committed that he would visit. Kailo has never said such

The goal is to make Bundy flip out right?
Will think about this again when he actually sets a date...IMO he's a lock and has been for awhile.

Personally I think Marcello is trying it stir the pot and Christy will only visit State.

Uhh, that's a quote. How is he stirring the pot by quoting him? Also you're sounding very coon like.. How the hell would you know that in the 6 months until signing day that some guy you've never met will not visit anywhere but state, especially after he said he would

he has a buddy who boxed the guy's chicken mcnuggets one time.

Mullen didn't go with the current policy until after those guys flipped. Never cared about OV's until the 2012 class.
His cockiness(and the Florida approach to recruiting) got him in trouble in 2011 no doubt.

Mullen considers him committed- he's been holding him off for a couple of weeks now.
This WR class is sick- just like last year's DL class.
As I have told the Bears quite a few times- we made quite a few changes in recruiting after the 2011 fiasco- dont look for something like that to happen again.

I like our chances with Crawford, he seems high on us. I also think we get billings Just because he didn't commit to UT on his visit which I think is the team we are competing against.
I think our next commitment is either from Thomas, billings, Crawford or Za'Darius. What do y'all think?
