How? He recruited every LB on our roster other than Cam Lawrence. He's also put 2 of Croom's into the NFL.
Obviously, every guy won't develop into an all-SEC talent... but we have a 3-deep full that I wouldn't have a second thought of Mullen deciding to play ANY of them. We have alot of quality depth at LB. If we didn't we would be taking more than 1 this year...
Who, exactly, qualifies as a bust?

No one. It is too early to say. Just like it is too early for you to say Mullen has yet to miss on a LB prospect.

But we had a thin LB group and he was a fifth year senior with a lot of ACC experience, and he wanted to come play for us. It was a no-brainer. They knew he might be a bust. It was kind of obvious in the way the coaches never talked him up before the season.

I think we all had higher expectations for Maye though. He did provide depth.

FWIW guy I work with is a huge bama fan and said that their insiders are saying right now it seems to be between bama and state for Conner.

The State part may be right, idk if Bama has a legit shot or not, we are very loaded at safety and it sounds to me like Conner would rather stay in state, plus he didn't visit our camp last week, but who knows he doesn't seem to be saying much from what I've seen.He's a good player.

Yeah I have also heard about him wanting to stay in state so that's why I feel like we have a good shot. But it's always hard to pull players out of South panola.
But I saw the kid play last year and remember telling my friend he would be one of the best players in the class next year. He made plays all over the place, seemed to be in every plau

He didn't visit State or TSUN's camp last week either. The general consensus is he had nothing to prove so he didn't take the time. Personally, I think he's waiting until the very last minute to say anything so he doesn't have to deal with people questioning his decision, but in truth

Still early but kinda reminds me of Richie Brown last year, nobody had any ideal where he was going or who was in the lead until the last minute
