One thing an assistant told me recently is that our staff is finally able to do more "choosing" on players instead of having to "beg" kids to visit and give them a chance. And that is the number 1 factor in Mullen looking to stay at State awhile.

Bundy... Is Harris taking Riley's LB spot? And if so do y'all still expect people to believe that Mullen passed on him for this guy?

Harris impressed our staff last night they offered him and he committed. He is a HS Qab/S and will be moved to LB at State. He is similar to Benardick McKinney who we signed 2 years ago.

who was lightly recruited but will start for us at MLB as a R-Fr and is considered the hardest hitter on the team

I read the write up. I'm simply asking is it true as many state fans believe, that Mullen passed on Riley and if this is the guy that they wanted instead

I thought Lawrence was MLB. So will the LB corps we those two and Wells?

No McKinney will play MLB- Cam plays Strong LB...Deonte Skinner (our best pro prospect at LB) plays Weak LB. Skinner was our best LB the last 4 games and this Spring. But the guys talk about how hard-hitting McKinney is. Great talent but will be inexperienced- will have to take the bad with the good early on. Having Cam with him will help.
Wells had a great Spring and will play a good bit and Bohanna will rotate in some with McKinney. Hughes backs up Cam and will have to fight off R. Brown this Fall as the top back-up

Y'all sound loaded at LB then. Wells will be a good one. Wasn't there last year but can run sideline to sideline as well as anyone

we are going to be really good at LB and DL the next few years- the Secondary is the big concern for 2013 and beyond.
Offensively in 2013 the OL, RB, and QB's will all return- but we will be green at WR
these next 2 seasons could be big if we get some good OL play this season and the CB situation worked out in 2013

Not Bundy, but no he isn't. I'm not really sure what happened with Riley. We'll still take him, if he wants to come. Riley is a much better lb recruit than this guy.
