@PJ247Sports: 2013 Houston commit John O'Korn tells Bulldawgs247 he will decide tomorrow if he is visiting MSU this weekend.

What the frick are we gonna do when he doesn't even visit? It enrages me that we are in this situation.

Maybe the coaches knew all along that Kailo wasn't a lock, thus not setting him and Chris Jones up to be "buddies". Think of how that would have backfired from today's perspective.

This happens to us every year. It is becoming beyond ridiculous. We are trying to get a WR to come visit as a QB prospect. Mullen seems to always settle for plan Z every year. It is his 5th year recruiting and the only QB he has gotten us is Dak. Major fail on Dan's part.

Have to agree... No QB, and not much on the OL

O'Korn is getting his wisdom teeth cut out today -- give him a break. He's going to visit...

I still think it's a pretty good chance that we end up getting Sandberg too.

Let's just let things play out...

I need more people like you in my life. I'm a pretty negative person if you can't tell.

If you're Dan Mullen, you can't base things on gut feelings. He better get us another solid QB.

I really like this Derunnya Wilson kid a 6'6 WR and he looks like he has some pretty quick feet too.

What makes you think this? I hope you're right.

By all means, continue the unnecessary freak out...

Since when is Dan basing things on "gut feelings"? We will most likely have 2 other potential QB prospects in the house this weekend, but we will have at least 1 for sure...

Definitely not freaking out, but this situation is a cause for concern. We apparently can't flip an Arizona State commit and a fugging Houston commit is pondering even visiting us. Add to the fact that perfect and projects Cord as a 3rd round pick and things aren't looking so rosy right now.

But no, I'm not freaking out, and I'm sure as hell not going to fault anyone for doing so.

Dobbs has been given the full court press by Tennessee and a few others -- so it isn't as simple of decision as once thought it could be.

"Pondering" is the wrong word. It's Tuesday, and he's just had his wisdom teeth cut out. That's usually not that big of deal, but occasionally it is. He's trying to decide if he is coming this weekend or next weekend. Not whether or not he's coming at all.

I just hope he plays Basketball too. Honestly, I think him and Christy have the highest ceilings of any of our highschool receivers, with a nudge to Wilson if pressed, but I don't think he'll be ready for another two years at least. Basketball-wise however he could give us some depth at forward and get significant playtime next season.

You know from my posts, I am the most positive person on our recruiting. However, This staff royally screwed the french pooch 2 recruiting seasons ago.

They laid no ground work for us to get a decent QB last year and it looks like... has the APPEARANCE OF taking a flight back over to france to find a fresh pooch to screw.

We put all of our work into Cord. At the last minute, we try to get Dobbs, now with how many weeks before NSD do we offer O'Korn?

Our back up plan to that is Smith! A guy who could not sign with an Aurburn team who has a QB that can't count to ten.. He can't chew gum and take a snap at the same time. HE only made it there as a WR!!

There is no... I mean no excuse out there that could even come close to explaining why we were caught like this.

Love my dawgs! Love Mullen, be we freak up..

I think you sleep less than me. What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking? Are you in any way affiliated with Dave's Darkhorse Tavern?
