Last year Dawgstudent was thinking about leaving yuku and people were throwing around suggestions. Someone suggested a TD style board and most everyone over there went nuts. They said NOOOO don't take away the threaded view!!!!! And I hate TDs setup etc etc etc. So it stayed the same shitty layout.

I agree with this 100%. They have really gone downhill in the last year or so. A lot of good info over there but also a lot of stuff that makes me cringe too.

I don't know why dawgstudent allows alot of that shite, wasn't that board started for the very reason of getting away from those types?

Sixpack was formed to get away from constant sunshine pumping from jeanspage and Jean's Gestapo techniques.
At that time, football had fallen off of a cliff- we went from being one of the best in the West to awful literally overnight.
Also, Stansbury had nearly been fired for the way he was running the program- but then he started his run from 2002-2005 that he lived off of until being fired last March. And you had me bashing him , pointing out what he didnt do well- which gave them plenty of fodder to post about.
And to top it off, we hired Polk back and it was not an all that popular decision by people that kept up with baseball.
Sixpack is not as good when we are winning. There are less things to argue about. Just the way it is. SECRant provides some info- but it is mostly a trollfest- so I dont see how you can act like this board is great either.
As to the format- I prefer SPS to this one because I can look at the thread and see what people reply to. This format just allows you to see the name to reply- but if the person posts multiple times or doesnt quote- you have no idea what someone is replying to. Just my view
