First, I had $800 on Ville at -14, ended up a push. Second, the uniforms were slick.

Third, ya'll ended the ville's NT hopes.

Ya'll played really good. I watched most of it due to my gambling.

Dropped passes killed it today.

Good coaching staff. Bright future.

Yep.

I am very happy with the overall performance. The offense has issues, and Smith is again hurt, so I don't know what will happen, but I go into the Florida game two weeks from now thinking that a win is possible.

The defense could not have played better today IMO, with the fact that the offense would not let them rest. The effort today gave me reason to think there are some wins on the schedule this season, assuming the offense finds a pulse.

First I will say that I hate losing. Especially to UL. I have to say that I really think this team is getting better game by game. Defensively our guys are sticking to their assignments and making plays. One play in particular that stuck out to me is that UL was running a stretch play to the left. Bud kept stringing the play wide and the LB came and took away the cutback. Bud then gobbled him up for a loss. Bud could have tried to make the play sooner, but he stayed home and executed perfectly. The dropped balls were terrible. Reminded me of the pre Mumme days. JoJo looked good again, and I think you have to get him on the field more. Ryan Timmons is going to be a STAR. That kid is so good.

I agree Bho. I think you need to start Kemp, and have Sanders/Timmons on the field as well. Especially if they can catch the ball. The talent needs to be on the field in some way, even if it's not their traditional role.

I really think that there could be some formations with Sanders and Kemp out there. I feel like Timmons was out there for most of the snaps yesterday, as well he should be. I really like Javess Blue as well. He had a few BAD drops yesterday, but he's a threat.

My guess with Kemp just from what I've read Stoops and Co. (there's a pretty solid premium article on UK's Rivals site right now that talks about it as well) say is that while he's a huge playmaker, he's not nearly as consistent right now as some of the other guys at his position. He's incredibly explosive, but he's also just a likely to miss a critical blocking assignment. I'm sure he'll get more PT after Saturday though.
