We are now back to a century or so ago when college sports almost collapsed and POTUS and Congress had to threaten to intervene.

If you are giving money to UK you should stop after this golden parachute they are giving to Mitch. These schools clearly have too much money to use it responsibly.

I have been arguing this exact point for at least the past 25 years.
Pre Mitch
500K = AD + BW staff
500K = PPE and assorted overhead for BW Fund
1M = total
Mitch
5 M = AD + KF Staff
5 M = PPE and assorted overhead for K Fund
10M = total
Name any business in the US where from one budget to the next yo added a ZERO or more?
SEC got strong by having some old school "Scottish Bankers" in the mix till about 1980, and it really went overboard around 2000.
