technical issues with posting on different device - need guidance

I can post messages on OM board on my kindle at home but I am unable to post using the same account on my computer or laptop at work. Every time I go through the process of posting from computer and laptop it sends me through the sign in says my account is active and then requires me to justify my admittance again in 200 words or less (which I have done several times just to see if it would work - which it has not). Again none of this makes sense because I can go home fire up my kindle and post away on the OM Board.
The only thing I can think of is that I need to sign out of my account on the kindle and try to sign in on the computer or lap top. However I am scared to try that because if it doesn't work I might not be able to sign in again on the kindle.

Is it possible the other device is signed into a different acct? Check the user name on the settings page.

Are you sure? This account has not posted on the ole miss board. You only have two post. Also check to see if you are in private browsing mode.

SEE above which is copied from my last post on OM Board. You will see that I have made 18 post from my kindle to the OM Board. At work when I sign in with this account on the work computer (the device I am using to post now) it will not allow me post to OM Board.

You can't post on the OM board as Fullmonty or FullmontyReb? FullmontyReb does not have access so he can't post. You are either not logged in as Fullmonty or in private browsing mode on the work computer and not logged in as anyone. Access to the team board is acct specific and not device specific.

If you look at this thread you will see that when I post on the SECRANT (this thread) from my computer the name is Fullmontyreb 2019 but when I post from my kindle on the SECRANT(this thread) the name is Fullmonty 2022
I assume that means there are two accounts I guess.

I think I may even have another account under a different name that I have never used. Maybe I need to eliminate all the other accounts and just keep Fullmontyreb 2019. How do I do that?

Circus -- I do not know who you are but I really appreciate you trying to help me out. I am sure it something simple but its beyond my ability to fix without help. I understand if you don't want to do this but would you be willing to to email me your contact info to ****** so that you could help me work through this outside the rant. I think with your guidance I could fix my issue.

You entered the email on fullmontyreb account. Do you remember the email for fullmonty? Are you have a password issue as well? Email us at tigerdroppings@gmail.com.

I think I may have finally figured it out -once I had the password reset for "fullmonty" sent to a different email account - it sent the right UN and allowed me to update the password.
