Like they said, board views/clicks generate the $$$ that keeps the site afloat. A thread full of ban bets doesn't exactly make a lot of sense for those running the site (you said you get that though).

Agreed on maintaining of the quality of the board, but if you're running a site like this you can't really ignore a thread that sets up a situation where multiple people are banned/creating less views.
