I would love it if you could put the "skip to" button at the top of the page so I don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the first page to get to jump to the last page.
Or even better, a way to skip to the last page on a thread from the topic board without having to enter the first page at all.

No, it's not. That's one post on one topic.
When you click on a thread that is 7 pages long, you have to wait for the first page to load, then click the "bottom" button, then click the "last page" button on the bottom.
Using this thread is a bad example because there's only 1 post.

Click on the user name under "last post". It takes you directly to the last page.
