I want to talk to Bama fans in their native environment. My credentials are: I've eaten at Dreamland, but not Archibalds. I've been to The Chukker back when it was still open. And I once poisoned a tree, but that was an accident and it's doing much better now that I've learned to use a normal urinal.

Sorry, it just wasn't as big a deal as Dreamland last time I was in Tuscaloosa. 
If it helps, I've been to the City Cafe too. I've had to wait 30 minutes just to get in at lunch on a weekday, but...damn, good eatin'. Totally worth it.

That's what I've been told. If I ever get a vacation again (in my life!) I'll swing through and try it. I've basically been living off a gallon jug of North Carolina barbecue sauce up here, seeing as my only real options in this area are...Mongolian barbecue. Which is awesome but not real barbecue.
