If people want to have good sports discussions here all it takes is a little self control and you can have some decent conversations. Ignore the trash talk and focus on the topic with others with that are interested. I have had some good talks with folks around here over the years. The one thing I dont get is those that complain about shitposting then start a trolling thread an hour later.
Also, there is plenty of shitposting on More Sports/Political and the OT.
Overall this place is for entertainment and not a place to find self worth for themselves or their favorite college program. Approach it as such and its a fun place to spend some time.

You start with the first post in a thread. You then follow along in the conversation with each successive post which chains together to form a somewhat coherent collective conversation.
Now go back and start from the beginning and see if you can find where you went off the rails. I will stick around for a bit here if you need help.
