For those requesting spots on other boards recently, where do you stand?

Seems like many trying to jump boards just prior to games between the 2 schools has become a trend the past week or two. Seems like this kinda defeats the purpose of the individual boards. If the goal is to add folks who post on daily or weekly basis then those requesting membership should plan on long term active posting and not just 1 week out of the 52 in a year.

If the board admins can add/remove posters it really isnt a big deal IMO.
AS long as folks have some respectful discussions I'd imagine may of the boards could use some more life.

I only request access to board of teams that I have no reason to talk shite to, and teams that I actually respect. I don't care for the getting access to troll crap.

Was not talking about you as you are in the ATL and follow the teams so requesting UGA makes sense. I was talking more about folks who just want on the week before the 2 teams meet. Seems shallow and narcissistic and counter productive to long term interaction and discussion.

There you go again thinking it is all about you even tho there are 13 other schools in the conference.
It was a blanket statement based on the requests made for the past several weeks. Just seems there have been requests for "one week charlies" lately who just want to post for single games. If folks just want to post for a week then just staying on the rant seems the more appropriate course of action. Seems there should be "dead weeks" for posters requesting another board the week before and the week after they play the requested school board.

I have requested access to the USC and Florida boards both week of. I still post on the Florida board and feel like I have had some good discussions over there and am still waiting on USC. Any board I am on I plan on staying active on there. I requested access to Bama because it looks like they have heavy traffic on their board and I have liked they way Bama fans (for the most part) have been respectful and classy on the Rant towards Mizzou fans. Im just looking for more ways to pass my time at work.

I am trying to, but did not want you to go on some point that was incorrect in the first place and then try to accept it as fact.
