Well...think about it from my perspective. I've registered for about a week, then come here to get AU board access and the first thing I see is an AU fan saying to post a pic with AU gear. I admit it did seem a tad unnecessary, but how would I know that's not the norm? I just assumed most new people had to do it, a rite of passage if you will. For all I know, if I didn't then I would've just gotten tossed to the wayside.
