More reps we get him the better

2 TD catches and that throw off the back foot right before the half before he was even open. Trask just keeps improving week after week.

Really, I hope we start to get a lot more big bodied and long TEs who can sort of convert to the WR slot. It's such a mismatch whoever is against them, and the way we're developing those guys is insane.

This is the type of offense that wins championships, we just need up our recruiting a smidgen now that our defense is in shambles.

I don't know about the future of our defense, and that scares me because I don't want to be another Oklahoma.

We're not gonna be another OU.

Look at all the young talent. The last 2 recruiting classes on the defensive side are gonna show up BIG next season.

I've been talking up the younger defensive guys a lot. They are way more athletic, and now they are starting to get experience.

I think it'll take one more year, though.

The one thing I will say is: While we will never have another passing Quarterback like Trask, people don't even know how unstoppable our offense will be next year and beyond.

Bowman, Lingard, Wright. Jones, Richardson, Del Rio and now Kitna?

Whew lawd.

Think Nick Elksnis will fill the void of a 6'6" guy with great hands and hops like Pitts. Also really like Gage at 6'4"

Zipp is doing his thing at 6'2" 240 tho. Faster then he looks and good with the ball in his hands. That room is set for when Pitts leaves
.
Elksnis is super underrated

We wont be OU. But defense is not what it was even five years ago.

Now it's about being opportunistic. No one shuts down elite offenses anymore.

You're actually correct.

The new type of defense that might work is sort of: Keep everything in front of you. 5 rush, press man, one safety valve in the back.

They're going to get down the field, and what you should try to do is shorten the field and then jump the routes or something along those lines.

The defense that can hold a great offense to 300 yards is completely gone.
