Do you know what happens if he breaks that rule a second time? He gets banned. Forever.

Why take a chance on him? He broke a seriously important rule -- and for the record, most people who break laws I don't want to see back, either.

I might agree but I won't get all over the internet and bash my head coach unless there is solid proof to do so.
and you have to admit there is no solid proof. he said, he said is all we have.

Its hilarious these clowns say well he broke the rules he should be GONE but then turn around and use the suspended players as an excuse to keep Mac. Which is why Mac is fos and lied about Grier and the death threats. Grier hasn't changed his story. Mac has been caught in a lie and let his guys run amok. That tells me all I need to know.

Because he hasn't done it at WVU, and is leading the nation in touchdown passes.

I seriously think you may be the dumbest person on Earth.

This times 20. Anyone thinking it's okay to let Will go, is an idiot. Will was a once in ten years type talent. Mac has kept Callway on the team despite being a moron, yet won't fight for Will?

We all know why. Because he is an arrogant SOAB who thinks he is a QB guru. So he thought he didn't need possibly the best QB in CFB.

Good job Mac. You dug your own grave. Now go to Oregon State before you screw up Matt too.

Mac clearly lied on Grier and started the rumor that he wanted guarantees. That's awful.

If Mac had his shite together, his players would know about supplements and he would ensure NO ONE get's popped for PEDs. Especially his QB. How does the HC not know his QB is on roids? I remember hearing Grier talk about using weight gain and I immediately thought about illegal supplements. Why the hell didn't Mac and his coaches clue in on this and pull Grier to the side and make sure he was legal? Months later he gets caught. They could have prevented that if they had a fricking clue. Same goes for the suspended 9. You have to have a pulse on your program and what your guys are doing. This has been an every year occurrence under Mac's watch. Who do you think will be suspended or injured next year??? Dumb luck or a coaching staff that may not be doing something right?

Got any proof to back that up? Let's please stick to the facts, there are two sides to this story and neither can be proven.

He said, he said, I tend to believe my head coach over a player that took PEDs and lied about it. At the end of the day, had he not done that this would be a non issue. That is the only fact that is verifiable.

^^^ What more proof do you need other then Will Grier is wearing another uniform and is not on this team. McElwain clearly ostracized him which was very evident from the beginning. Grier confirmed what we all saw. An arrogant Mac totally treating Grier like he was no longer a Gator.

When McElwain showed up more than two hours late to their appointment, Chad knew it was a bad sign.

McElwain said Will was welcome to stay, but also suggested a fresh start elsewhere might not be a bad idea. After the meeting, Chad told his son, "I don't think he wants you.'"

McElwain later insinuated that the Griers had asked for a "guarantee" that Will would get the job back once he was eligible to return.

^^^ Who does this??? A self absorbed dick does this. Then when Grier left, Mac came up with a lie as to why Grier left.

Maybe he ostracized him because he took PEDs?

And frick you, TJ, I literally said at the top of this page that I don't want the kids who broke the law to come back on the team.

I wouldn't take a chance on a guy who was too ''stupid'' to not check in with the team about a supplement he was taking, got himself a year-long suspension and fricked us over. I wouldn't take a chance on Callaway even if it meant winning every game this season. I think players who act selfishly and are willing to frick over their team and future because of stupidity, ignorance or a little of both shouldn't be playing at Florida.

We've had way too many years with way too many arrests, and have a reputation for those arrests -- it's time to axe players who do that shite, it will not be tolerated, and starting with players who get fricked by the NCAA is worthy as well.

Yep, under Pell and Galen Hall. Zero ties to the program today.

We were ostracized. Haha

That's cool man

I've always thought that UF should honor Pell in a small way on campus. Will probably never happen though. I've always said if Spurrier layed the foundation for UF then Pell damn sure dug the footer for him.

Pell paved the way for sure. The NCAA ruined a good man. They also decimated UF similar to SMU. It's the main reason FSU and Miami came into their own. The University wants nothing to do with those years. They've swept it under the rug and never looked back. You have to look real hard to find anything on those years. Sad...

The mid 1980s NCAA probation made Bowden a media darling and he recruited players that normally would have gone to UF instead. We were severely punished and a lot of the 50 odd charges were horseshite minor infractions....like buying gum for a recruit at an airport to help keep his ears from popping on the flight...that's an honest to goodness charge by the NCAA.

They simply wanted to horsewhip a couple of teams to make others heed rules...that's why UF & SMU were two targets, because of fertile Fla & Texas recruiting grounds. Oklahoma, Texas, and many other SEC teams could have easily been caught too. Just remember that UGA AD (and HC) Dooley served as a presiding board member deciding UFs punishments and he helped stick it to us.

Spurrier knew very well the history of UF-UGA dealings and he was told by older Gators about how UGA kept their football players in school doing ROTC stints while UF had hardly anyone left on the team since they had left school to fight overseas. UGA took advantage of our weakness and heroes by beating us 75-0...Spurrier never forgot what he was told....and now you know why he hated UGA.
