1. 22 scholarship players were out for this game.

2. We fired our HC six days ago.

3. That HC refused to play our best quarterback all season, and he our QB has to ''learn on the job'' in a new system.

I think this was destined to happen, especially with just how many things we're dealing with. Toney is hurt, Davis is hurt and they were producing almost 100% of our offense the last few weeks.

It's always great to be a Gator, but we need to make a homerun hire or we're fricked.

This is just one more game in what will be one of the worst seasons we remember. It’s not all the surprising to me given everything that’s happened. Just ready for the season to end and we can start looking forward.

I just want to know if there are adjustments we can do, or something else we can do?

Toney, Davis, Scarlett, Callaway.

Harris, Polite, Washington, Sheritt.

That's 8 starters right there, and not even including all of the other players out.

I have no idea if we can even adjust, but I hope now that we know what we have we can make some changes on offense and defense for the next few games.

Feels like we should just pack it up, though, depressingly enough.

You sound like a guy who expected us to lose this game .

First thing would be to put Franks back in as the starter. Nuss is a horrible play caller and refuses to adjust the offense to help the players succeed. Nuss is running a pro style offense with a athlete at QB. None of the QBs will look very good with Nuss as the OC but atleast Franks has the skills to match his offense.

That was one of the worst defenses in college football and we only scored 16 points on them. Our 16 points was the second fewest points scored on Missouri all year.

Shannon could promote someone else to OC . The plays that we all want the offense to use that work like the bootleg and jet sweep hardly ever get called in the game .

I would bet a lot of money that if Zaire starts, our offense ''magically'' improves over the next few weeks.

I think Franks is 100% of the problem -- Zaire had more yards throwing in one quarter and, separately, the same amount of rushing yards in one quarter against Georgia.

Your wrong like 99% of the time . Do you even watch any football games ?

Our problem on offense is 95+% coaching.

Do you watch football? Franks threw for 30 yards the last game.

Zaire has more passing yards this last game than all three of the last games Franks played -- he threw for more yards in half a quarter against Georgia than Franks had the entire game.

You really want it to be that Franks isn't a bad quarterback -- he is.

Zaire didn't have Toney or Davis -- a luxury Franks had with at least one of them.

Saying Zaire isn't as good when he put up better numbers without a rushing attack is just stupid.

If we can't run or block at the line, what else are we doing than letting Franks drop back to get sacked every down? He doesn't offer anything.

I thought LDR was the best QB?

Point is, this offensive coaching staff is garbage.

I agree with what Nick and Spivey said last week on their podcast, that even with Will Grier here, UF would still have a lot of issues on offense.

Maybe for you who are young...I can remember the 1979 season in Pells first year when we went 0-10-1...the tie was to a mediocre Ga Tech team and we lost an AA LBer in that rainy night game...Scott Brantley broke his neck in that game.

I don't know why people keep pointing to that season as if it was all horrible. Yes, we went winless but the beginning of the season was like this year's Gators. Injuries, especially to Brantley at QB killed the season. Several games were close and the team actually improved in the end. The biggest thing is there was a lot of excitement around the program. Booster dollars was coming in droves and Pell was recruiting like crazy. I really first heard of UF that year as Pell was intent on building a big time program. He brought UF into the mainstream. I don't know anyone that felt that UF was going down hill. Everyone felt that UF was a sleeping giant and it was.

That year was transition. Everyone knew it. But it was also the most optimism ever at UF.

Missouri gives up almost 40 points a game and Zaire was only able to get us 9 points . Yesterday our offense made Missouri’s defense look great .

Why did you bring up the Georgia game ? Zaire doing good when he came in at the end of game doesn’t mean anything. But going off your idea Franks should have started against Missouri because he had 2 positions and scored a TD on one and ran out of time on the second.

If Zaire is such a good QB why did he transfer here ? Because he wasn’t good enough to start on his own team ? Having a QB that the defense doesn’t respect his ability to pass hurts the running game .

So Franks is not a good QB ? You make me feel a lot better about him next year with our new staff. With you being wrong almost all of the time .

We may not win another game the way the offense played against Missouri.
