Was wondering tonight. Let's say Pease gets a HC job or NFL OC job in the next 1-2 years.
Do you think Phillips or White will be promoted? If so which one? White was a lead candidate for our last OC hire but we went for Pease. Do you think he would get it over a proven OC in Joker?
Don't know why I was thinking about it but I love both of these guys being on our staff but I would worry one would leave if the other got the job.

Phillips most likely would get the position.

Do you think we lose white If he doesn't get it? Dude has been a great position coach for us at tight end and Rb.

I hope not. if some small school offers him a coordinator gig somewhere, hopefully we will just match the offer. If a big school offers him a coordinator he will probably bolt. Its hard to keep these guys from taking what they consider a better job.

I am surprised he did not get an offer from someone. Fricking Scot Loeffler got another gig as an OC. White is way better.
One thing that would hurt him is that White would be viewed as a Pro set OC, not the HUNH that everyone is moving to.
