Watched a lot of the first half and 80% of the time Clemson had a least 1 corner (sometimes 2) at least 10 to 12 yds off the WR...I guess Venables is a bad DC? Not saying TG is the elite DC, but everyone on this board would jump to get Venables and his 10 to 12 yd cushions ???
There are reasons you play mixed zones...our real problem on defense has been late calls from the sideline. We dont have enough depth of solid players to replace jrs and srs actually and true frosh can cost you.

The difference? Florida would give up 250+ and 3 TDs yards to ND.
Clemson has held them to 1 TD.

Finch....Nuerted Damsel has a QB who isnt an elite passer, but good runner. ND has a good OL & DL, but our offense would carve them up.
