Got some playing time at the end when game was still in reach. Hadn’t heard much about him but he could be a savior in the secondary he has the hype out of high school.

Honestly, on the DL, Dexter seems to be in on every single play. Kid's a stud and we have for at least two more years.

A lot of the younger players look...let's just be honest, they look better. So far at least. I'd rather see Torrence than Stiner at this point, and Dean has been very, very good in run support.

At this point Davis up top with Dean in run support (every down) I feel would be better than putting them in two deep.

Stiner has zero play recognition. He's more of a linebacker mind playing at safety and it just isn't a good match at all.

Yep when its Wingo Diabate Dexterb Lee Goods Cox etc up front next yr we gon be getting after the QB arse

We need to play Jaydon Hill at slot or outside more or Kimbrough

Also give Hopper more of a chance he can rush the passer and cover. He's incredibly fast closing in

I liked what I saw out of J. Hill as well. It was just interesting to me that at a pivotal point the first time all year I see 16 get in. I had to look him up on the roster to see who it was. He was in good position I’m hopeful. Stiner is really really bad.

Hill played very well.

I'd wouldnt mind seeing him on the field a lot more. Then Stewart of course if he ever gets back.

I could see Elam, Hill, Wilson, Davis, Stewart making a pretty strong secondary actually. Then get Burney out and put Houston back in with Miller to sure up the run vs Aggie.

I really dislike our size as well up front. Cox is a very good player but he is not going to beat good tackles often in the run. Carter and Moon are good, but not great.

Size matters in the SEC. Getting Dexter, Campbell, Slaton on the line all at once could really help sure up the run. Then put Cox/Houston at LB based on situation.

Really puzzled we haven't seen much of Wingo or Hopper though. Both I have high hope for.

Speaking of Campbell I was walking by the guys practicing tonight and he was definitely in pads out there with the defense, I’m not optimistic he plays this weekend but that’s gotta mean he’ll be back in coming weeks.

We need some young DTs getting more time. Everytime SC needed yards they ran to our right side at will

He is playing but in a terrible place. He isn't a good traditional LB right now. Needs to be a pass rush specialist.

Couple things:
Trevez Johnson needs to be on the field he absolutely hawked that rb down from behind and I haven’t seen another defensive back on our team come close to making a play like that, especially at such a pivotal moment.

Also jalen Humphries sighting on d line giving us depth but I’m not sure it’s good depth he did nothing notable but atleast younger guys are getting experience.

Not sure who we play..but I'd like to see Johnson, Hill, and Kimbrough on the field way, way more than Stiner, Wilson, Dean, or McWilliams right now. If we aren't going to defend anyways this year, get the young guys in there.
