We had a guy in the Discord who literally called the Chip Kelly deal, and we also have multiple insiders on both the Florida and UCLA side.

Call what you want, UCLA was not happy last night -- the guy claimed to be a booster (maybe he wasn't) but he called it earlier in the week and gave us insight from the UCLA side that checked out over and over again.

He was also trying to leverage his unemployment last minute to try and get more than he already had.

Again, call bullshite, but why do you think Chip Kelly is making 4.6/7 million dollars a year when McElwain was making 4.5? This is fricking Chip Kelly, and he's making a mere .2 million dollars more than McElwain.

I also said that there were some things that would make the deal fall through -- I said it multiple times. I told people to stop saying timelines, reporting dates, because no one knew.

Again, tRant only reads what it wants to hear and shitposts. Even UCLA Insiders were tired of Chip Kelly, so much to the point that they didn't think he was coming either.

I just brought you what people were telling me regarding how the negotiations were going, and I said what everyone knows:

Florida is a better job than UCLA for football, period. If Chip Kelly likes L.A. Weather, then everything he's ever said about competition, working hard and being a gamer is b u l l s h i t. We have a dumpster fire team and our football fanbase still supports them, they still go to the game and we still watch the game.

Just follow the timeline, man. This is what you said on the 22nd on why Chip to UF was done. The timeline for him to UCLA didn't make sense.

Did I or did I not say the UCLA thing had legs based on what I was told and reading. You told me i was wrong. You said people onlyread what they want to hear and shitpost. Sounds like you were only reading what you wanted to hear and that was Chip coming to UF. go back and reread what you posted

Because he's not. Boosters will be paying his housing. He will be being paid by the NFL still. I'm sure their will be endorsements discussed with Wasserman and Under Armour.

Or maybe that's all UCLA could afford and he wanted the job bad enough he chose to take a cut to build a better staff. I've turned down higher paying jobs for reasons of location and perks/benefits why is it so hard to think he could.

Ok Truce. You actually do make detailed and thought out posts. Always appreciated that. My biggest issue was when you told me to apologize when we land Chip because I wasn't 100% sold.
