Brady Ackerman just tweeted out a Chip Kelly quote from his days with the Eagles with a chocolate chip cookie emoji.

This shite is really happening!

Hope all of you guys are right but if he signs a contract 3 hours ago and still no national news doesn't sound right to me but maybe the news is slow on these things in 2017.

But until it's official I would worry about UCLA

Holy frick I made a huge post as to why UCLA has no chance. So I'll put cliffnotes.

UCLA is paying about 35 millions dollars to the previous and future staff.
UCLA is way behind us on facilities. (Kelly wanted promises here.)
UCLA is little brother to a far more dominant school in the same city.
UCLA has won their division twice in the last 20 years.
UCLA hasn't been to a big bowl since 1998. (Rose)

Facilities: Florida
Fan Base: Florida
Resources: Florida
Recruiting: Florida
Money: Florida

He would literally be going to a school that hasn't competed for anything for 20 years and hasn't won their conference since the 90's over a school who won their division twice in a row and their conference in half the time, as well as national championships.

He. Is. Not. Going. To. UCLA. Over. Florida.

You sound like an LSU fan.

ATL and Straws give me some 100% SOLID PROOF!!!!!!!!

you can't you do not have any that is all I want I know you guys are sick of my nega-gator attitude towards chipper.

If he is the guy that is great I will be all in but if he is not after all of this we are a program in a lot of trouble

You think UCLA is a threat to Florida for a potential head coaching hire, you're so far out of the loop that explaining this to you is kind of an insult. Every day you say ''Chipper's further away, hurr.''

Every day more and more reports come out from different sources saying the exact same thing.

Today, the son of someone who is on the UAA posted that Chip Kelly will be our next HC.

The lawyer who broke the McElwain story also reported Chip Kelly to Florida first.

SEC Country officially reported that we were in talks with Chip Kelly.

Several sports writers including those with ties to the Gators have reported the same thing.

It's when, not if.

UCLA is not going to convince him to go there and turn a team without a conference title in 20 years rather than come to Florida and manage top ten classes without lifting a finger.

Look, if Kelly is trying to frick us over and using UCLA as leverage to do so -- bully on him. He can go watch his legacy die in UCLA.

He's not going to UCLA, and all of the reports about UCLA are hilarious. We've been working Kelly for weeks, and UCLA is suddenly ahead when they can't match us per capita, in recruiting or resources?

He's not going to take a job where he will be paid less with less talent and lesser facilities along with fewer resources to hire his assistant coaches.

Chip Kelly: Earlier today multiple sources told FootballScoop UCLA representatives were scheduled to meet with Chip Kelly tomorrow. Florida officials met with him today. Tonight a separate source tells us Chip is not flying to Florida just yet…. Update> Robbie Andreu who covers the Gators just confirmed publicly Florida officials are flying back to Florida tonight without Chip and without a deal in place.

Would be silly not to, but they're not going to outbid us with a 30 million dollar buyout/hire process for a football program that hasn't done anything since the 90's.

What does UCLA have to offer outside of location, and even that's dubious? I'll wait.

That's your opinion. Maybe he likes not having the pressure. The area is nice and LA sells itself. Just look at USC. They can match anything we offer.
