UAA meeting should have been going on all night they better get this thing worked out pretty much chipper or bust now.
The only other guy that might excite the fan base in my opinion would be maybe Josh McDaniel.
Other then that Gator Fans pissed = UAA / and or Stricklin Screwed!!!!!

Just having fun with the situation I don't have clue what they will do if they don't get chipper and probably will not be happy like most of the rest of the fan base

After watching yesterday’s Buddy Martin show I feel better about our chances with Chip Kelly. Franz Beard who has been ?? said he’s 97.9-99.7% sure Kelly to Florida. Buddy was 92 or 93% sure. They said the contract is huge like 300 pgs huge. Follow Buddy Martin on Facebook to see

Just got through reading all 300+ pages. I’ve suggested a few modifications and a rewrite of said document. I’m feeling good about it.

I've...I'm not mad, but I've been saying this for almost a week and a half now -- that the contract would be long and very twisty because of our collective wishes.
That being said: Why do people think Tennessee has a chance at Chip Kelly? He fricking for goddamn sure doesn't want to go there. He'd go to A&M before Tennessee.

Are you even a Gator fan? I just chewed you out for saying it before -- and actually it's over 90% for anyone reputable that he will come to Florida.
I just explained to you that the contract is unique to Chip Kelly, because he's not a middle-of-the-road-might-do-well, he's a done well and he wants assurances that he will have the support and control he needs -- while we want the assurance his nose will be clean and he will not bolt.
This is way different than the last two chuckleheads we've hired.

Chip is being paid pretty well right now, he can be very selective about where he wants to coach at the college level. I think UF is a perfect scenerio for him with the things he likes and doesnt like to do. I understand he wants a commitment from the administration for this program to go into the future and change the culture around here.
Hopefully the AD and UAA can understand the opportunity that is in front of us right now... it wont happen again anytime soon.

I posted yesterday about Stricklin's Twitter -- he posted something about soccer and literally 98% of the comments were about Chip Kelly. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he's shoehorned the UAA into full support of Kelly.
Again, they need to give us, the unwashed masses, our HC or they know shite's about to get real.
Today I have a feeling that our stadium will be empty, and that will also force the UAA's hand.

Poster on tide fans.com claiming "inside sources" says as of 12pm today Kelly deal is still on and it's just a matter of ironing out extensive details of the contract. This coincides with what others have said/heard here.
