Yes it was against Vandy, but I didn't see much to be negative about with our new starting Guards, Gouriage and White.

I saw White got beat once on a play where Trask hit a big throw where the defender nearly got him but no turnstile action that we've seen with 67 and 61 out there

I was at the game and kept an eye on White and I’ll tell you that kid’s got it. He’s got a lot of heart and a motor that just keeps going and going. After his big physical transformation this summer he going to be a stud on the line for us the next four years. He’s also eligible for a red shirt.

I hope they start the rest of the season. The fact that our run game ranks in the 100's and we're still looking to finish with 10 wins is astounding.

Pass protection is elite and gives time for our QBs to get it out. A lot of these guys will play in the NFL if they can only get better at run-blocking. The good news is a lot of them should come back because they'll grade out horrendously if they try to leave early.

Im fully prepared to let the older guys go.

Buchanan does well as the Center but Delance, Ill pack his bags and buy him a bus ticket. Big as hell and gets mauled weekly

The new guys coming in are likely going to be decent, so I wouldn't mind it.

I do love me a good comeback story, though. Looking at McWilliams.

We will still need bodies, though.

Bull shite the other team knows we are passing every down and they only giving up about 3 sacks a game.

Not to mention a lot of our passes are long developing plays where Trask just pretty much stands there for 3 - 5 seconds looking around. Most of the time there's nothing he can do because the other team has dropped back a lot of their defenders (although he is still hitting 69.9% of his passes).

They are well above average pass blockers considering how we run our offense. If we utilized a traditional air raid offense Trask probably would probably get sacked one time, twice at most.

Lol tell yourselves what you want. Uf runs a ton of quick stuff. The right side of the line is just bad and Forsythe has had some really bad misses in critical moments and he’s your best tackle. Buchanan is our best overall linemen and he is just average.

Considering we lost 4 OL, it could be much worse. Theyve actually been pretty solid. Not great but our guys arent getting overrun every play either

Considering the amount of time Trask has had on average to go through his progressions they have been doing much better than "passable". There are a few plays here and there where the DL is in the backfield quick, but that's because almost everyone knows every down is pretty much a throwing down.

They would have much better numbers if they were actually good at run blocking, but as it is they are pretty much doing the same thing Trask is doing:

Playing very well in spite of the defense knowing what we're going to do.

If we flipped it and we were running for 175+ yards a game into stacked boxes we'd be saying they were elite, but because the passing statistics are almost like a decent West Coast team a lot of people revert to: "OKay whatever you want to think."

Contextually it's extremely impressive.

40 passes, only 2 sacks. Id say that's pretty good.
