Technically, if it stands at 22, at least an entire team starting.

On defense, I might just start bringing in cornerbacks and only ever run a Nickel package. If one of the LBs gets tired, switch to a Dime and just put a safety in there.

Make things a little crazy.

On offense, I think it's time that we start doing jet-sweeps and the like.

If Perine is out, that means we will be down 3 starting running backs and only have Lemons and Thompson.

That is ugly. I think this team would have battled for another East title if they didn't have all the suspensions and injuries. For that reason, it sucked for Mac. But, I think Mac ultimately is responsible for the injuries and suspensions. He knew guys like Calloway couldn't be trusted but he still did. You have to have spies on the team that can sniff out the malcontents, so they don't infect a bunch of other guys. I think Calloway was the instigator in the suspensions. I could be wrong but for some reason, I can see him getting other guys involved in the shenanigans.

I also think injuries are due to poor technique and piss poor conditioning. Our guys drop like flies every game. It's depressing. Is it dumb luck or poor blocking and tackling? Are we outmatched in the trenches? It sure looks like it most games as we're getting blown off the ball.

Hopefully most of these guys will be back healthy next year. I think the next coach will have this team back on track in his first year.

There are definitely things we could do better, but...

Injuries have been here since Muschamp -- he had 21 for a few games in one season. Technically, only 12 guys are injured. It's still a lot, but there are a few injuries that had nothing to do with strength and conditioning. Our guys, also, are going down a lot because there's no depth.

That being said: If it were up to me, I'd kick off every single player involved in that fraud case -- open up some scholarships and just fill it up with 3 or 4 stars. Just get bodies in the game.

The right coach can keep this class together, and if we keep this class together he doesn't even need to worry about defense. Just focus on the offense. Almost our entire defense is coming back next year.

We have to make a homerun hire.
